Construction Finished

Well the last two weeks feel like they’ve been a disaster. Between trying to create a new design for the Spring Equinox card that I’ll be sending out, buildings collapsing around town, emotional stress between loved ones, and exhausting exercises, trying to take professional quality photos of my work took way longer than I wanted it to. I sent out the first letter to my email list last Friday the 8th without the photos I had worked so hard to take because they still needed to be edited.

Yesterday I finally wrestled with Photoshop and got the photos where I wanted them. When I got to work today (where I have enough time between helping customers to do my own thing) and started uploading them to Squarespace, they were DARK! I know that every computer monitor is different, but they were so brilliant last night and look so dull this morning. I figured it has something to do with the image information transferring to a .jpeg file, and then how Squarespace interprets that information.

Does anyone know why that would happen? Or did I actually edit them darker than I thought I did?

Today I uploaded and edited them within Squarespace so that they look pretty close to the original images, and that’s as good as it’s gonna get for now.

BUT! I’m still excited because they still look more professional than before and it’s a step in the right direction.

My website, Patreon, and other social media sites are gonna continually grow as I grow and figure things out piece by piece. Please stay tuned as I update and change things occasionally!
