This oil painting embodies empathy within disarray and death. After the initial shock of Covid19, I began to explore themes of care and compassion that were so often drowned out by fear. The birch and oak trees are covered in fungus spores while one person watches over another.
Treat yourself to the same patience as others, these are still unprecedented times.
