After a failed relationship of 6 years I physically and visually explored the circular struggle we had around the idea of a home together. Three houses are superimposed over each other and are supported by a thin blue rectangle and a large pink rectangle. These represent the stereotypical gender colors and their size and position brings in questions of mismatched gender roles and the effort that’s put into building a home.

Created with house paint and charcoal, this contemporary abstract art piece brings beauty and curiosity into any home or gallery collection. It’s large scale commands space in any room.
