An oldie but a goodie, this encaustic painting was my first experiment into the medium. Colored and clear wax is smeared over painted layers of text, cherry flowers, and symbols giving the painting a milky, underwater feeling. The koi fish is delicately painted on rice paper. This original art piece is unframed.
