This contemporary collage art piece visually explores roll modelling for young children and growing up surrounded by something toxic. The wallpaper is a replica of the roll my mother kept of my siblings and I bringing an intimately personal touch to the piece. The large red autumn branch is poison sumac. This original oil painting shows the mother and child in graphite, a representation of something unfinished or unresolved.
